Dr. Thompson graduated from California State University, Chico in Biological Sciences, earned his Master of Science in Human Nutrition at Columbia University, and his medical degree at Chicago Medical School. His transitional year/internal medicine internship was at NorthShore University Health System University of Chicago, and his diagnostic radiology residency at the Los Angeles County Hospital University of Southern California. His vascular/interventional fellowship was completed at the University of Southern California.
Clinical interests include complex venous interventions, interventional pain, interventional oncology, stroke thrombectomy, and management of portal hypertension.
Dr. Thompson joined Medford Radiology Group in 2017. He is married with two children. In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoys the outdoors, fishing, snowboarding, tennis, and travel.
